Your first visit to Dental Solutions is the most important visit. Our staff will be awaiting your arrival and make every effort to make your visit pleasant, comfortable and as short as practical. Our waiting room is equipped with wireless Internet for your use.

During your consultation, Dr. Jan and his staff will take time to learn about you, understand your problems, expectations and listen to your concerns. After assessing your current situation, with your permission, we examine your head, neck and mouth, take any necessary X-rays and, if you allow us, take pictures of you and your mouth. Please reserve 60-90 minutes for your first visit. In order to determine the most appropriate treatment for you, we may need to perform a highly specialized X-ray procedure with our three-dimensional X-ray machine.

Dr. Jan will spend some time after hours to go through the findings, put all things together, contact your dentist or your primary care physician and create a plan that best suits you, then write down options for you. We know that your mouth and smile is very personal. We respect that. That is why we may ask you to come back to discuss appropriate plans with you if necessary.

For our patients suffering from TMJ disorder and Orofacial pain, we have assembled a team of specialists who will be involved in your care. TMJ treatment is a multi-specialty treatment. Most of the time it is impossible to solve your problem in one visit, or within our office only. There may be an underlying issue with your teeth or bite, however since this is usually a chronic problem, to solve it will require dedication, patience and, in many cases, visits to multiple medical specialists.
